How to use Route tool?
This tool displays routes in the IP routing table on your computer. It allows you to to add a new route, modify an existing route and delete a route or routes.
To add a route for the specified destination you must enter the following data:
- The destination IP address and network mask.
- The IP address of the gateway.
- The IP address of the interface.
- The cost for this destination (metric).
If you want to make the route persistent (non-persistent routes only last until the computer is restarted or until the interface is deactivated) you must check on "Persistent" box. To remove unwanted routes, you must select routes and press Delete button.
The status bar shows the number of routes and the last refresh time.
